Johnson Solar is a military veteran-owned and operated PV solar and battery installation company, founded by retired Navy Aviator Clinton Johnson. With over 20 years of military service and more than a decade of hands-on construction experience, Clinton leads the company with precision, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.

Based in San Diego County, Johnson Solar specializes in high-quality solar panel and battery installations throughout Southern California, proudly serving San Diego, Orange, and Riverside Counties.

Clinton Johnson has dedicated his second career to making solar energy more accessible, affordable, and efficient for homeowners and businesses. His mission is to deliver faster installation timelines and better value than most competitors in the region.

Raised on a farm in rural Minnesota, Clinton developed a strong work ethic early in life, working in multiple construction trades before joining the U.S. Navy. His military career spanned two decades, beginning as an enlisted computer and electronics technician and culminating as a commissioned officer and Naval Aviator. He completed his service in San Diego after earning an MBA in New Venture Management from the University of San Diego.
