Our Story
Johnson Solar, a military Veteran owned and operated PV Solar & Battery Installation Company was founded by retired Navy Aviator Clinton Johnson who has over 20 years military service and over a decade of construction experience.
Johnson Solar is dedicated to providing top notch PV Solar & Battery installations in San Diego County and Surrounding areas in Southern California including Orange and Riverside Counties.
Clinton has dedicated his second career and business efforts toward helping customers in San Diego and surrounding areas get solar installed faster and more affordable than most competitors.
Clinton roots were developed from growing up on farm in rural Minnesota and working multiple construction trades prior to joining the military. His attention to detail and strong mid-western work ethic are a rare commodity. During his military career he rose through the ranks as enlisted Computer & Electronics Technician and later commissioned officer and finished his military career as Naval Aviator here in San Diego after earning his MBA at University of San Diego in New Venture Management.
